Musica Festival announces performing artists

Italian Embassy organized event, the Musica Festival Zimbabwe have announced the names of artists who will be performing at this year’s event that is scheduled for the first week of October at different venues in Harare.

Organizers of the festive said the artists have confirmed their participation in the event that will give them a platform to interact and exchange musically, citing that they have agreed on all terms in support of this initiative.

“We are proud to present the artistic lineup of extremely talented local and international acts participating in this year’s festive,” said the festival publicists.

The organizers said they will keep people posted on artists’ biographies and profiles so as to generally get them to know their entertainers before meeting them on the course of the festival.

“We will be gradually introducing you to the artists who will be performing this year,” said an insider with the publishing staff.

Local performances are to include the legendary Oliver Mtukudzi, Amabeyond, Evicted, Frankie goes to Bollywood, Jazz Invitation, Josh Meck, Macy and The Red, Prudence Katomeni, Tete Spedia and Zimboita.

Italy’s Andrea Valeri, Angela Corsani, Dark Dry Tears, South Africa’s DJ Moran, Made in Europe from Sweden and Italy, Mooyh of Norway/Czec Republic and Shayna Steele of USA are part of the international acts set to perform.

Musica Festival Zimbabwe are also grateful to their local partners and sponsors who have supported them during the years they have been existing.

“We have great sponsors who have made us strong all the way, without them it could have not been this easy. We are very grateful to them that words can not explain anything,” they said.
