Ingredients.

  • 2 and half cups of flour
  • 1 and half cups of sugar
  • 180g margarine
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp red gel food coloring and 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 cup butter milk/ plain yogurt
  • 3 tbsp baking powder

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 cup stock bake
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Recipe

  • Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees, grease and flour your cake pans.
  • cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy, add eggs and beat for one minute, beat in vanilla until the mix is fully blended.
  • Mix cocoa, food coloring and 2 tbsp water separately then add and beat into the egg creamed mixture.
  • Add the flour and butter milk/ yogurt to the mixture beating on a low to medium speed
  • add baking powder to the cake butter, spoon the butter evenly to your cake pans and bake at 180 degrees for 22-28 minutes.

  • In a sauce pan, whisk together the 1/3 cups flour and milk and cook,stirring, until thickened, put in the ┬árefrigerator to cool.
  • Beat stock bake, sugar and vanilla with mixer.
  • Add flour and milk mixture a little at a time (make before the cake so that it has plenty of time to cool), beat well adding milk or cream.
  • Frost layers, sides and top of the cake.
