Enock Munhenga popolarly known as XQ by many of his fans, is an afro pop artists who has managed to mantain his fame and good music for the last decade.
He rose into the music in the early 2000’s with hits like Musalala, , Ndichakuteera, Mazirudo and a whole lot of other collaborations that turned him into a well known and respected artiste in the whole of Zimbabwe.
Through his great musical prowess he has managed to travel to countries like , South Africa, Zambia, Mozambique , Australia and the United Kingdom.
With his heavy rhyming lyrics he has managed to share the stage with many local artists as well as other international stars such as Lil kim, Fat Joe and Ciara.
Apart from music XQ, has also featured various television and radio advertisements which has turned him into a popular households name at the same time making him a role model to many artistes.
He has also perfomed for Coca Cola, G tide ,Savanna Tobbacco, Z T A, WHO as well as the spanish embassy.
Apart from doing audio adverts for Econet ,XQ has also been involved in several notable charity campaigns and events as a way of giving back to the society.
He was also part of the project done by the late Prince Tendai in 2004 called “searching for love”.
XQ is also one of the pioneers of the Zimbabwe Urban Grooves movement and he is also involved in helping other young artistes enter into the musical scene.
In 2006 he won the Zimbabwe Musical Awards (ZIMA) for Video of the year for Ndichakuteera.
Last year he was awarded best Afro pop Artist hence showing that even after many years in the industry he is still going strong.
